INTE Cosmetics Releases "EU & UK Export Compliance Checklist 2026" as Regulatory Execution Year Intensifies

SHENZHEN, China — September 2026 — INTE Cosmetics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. today released its EU & UK Export Compliance Checklist 2026, a practical reference for beauty brands and distributors selling into the European Union and United Kingdom, as the region enters one of its most intensive regulatory execution periods in years.

Three regulatory developments frame the checklist:

PPWR packaging rules

1. entered into application on 12 August 2026, extending compliance obligations from formula to packaging, with Declarations of Conformity and EPR duties now standard.

Omnibus VIII CMR restrictions

2. took effect on 1 May 2026, adding new bans and use limits across Annex II/III/IV, including acetone oxime, silver powder (CI 77820, ≤0.2%) and hexyl salicylate in hydro-alcoholic fragrances (≤2%).

3. — on 7 September 2026 the European Commission requested a scientific opinion on cuminaldehyde, a constituent of cumin, coriander and eucalyptus essential oils — signaling tightened scrutiny of botanical fragrance and active ingredients.

The checklist consolidates the five gates every EU-bound cosmetic product must pass — formula re-screening, ingredient traceability, packaging file (PPWR/DoC), CPNP notification and Responsible Person records, and EPR registration — into a single working document.
